Traveling Journal

Made this traveling journal for Greg, my wonderful boyfriend who left yesterday for a solo bike journey across the country. Won't see him again til August, when we'll reunite in Halifax.

Leather-bound, saddle stitched signatures (then perfect-bound with archival glue for extra durability during those rainy nights), 100 page (approx... I forgot to count!) journal with re-purposed geological survey maps as end-pages. A few little surprises (like envelopes where he can store trip ephemera and my letters to him) bound and glued within. A braided hemp belt adhered beneath the back end-page to keep that anticipated beer label collection inside! Happy memory-making, Greg!
