Winter brings Nordic Culture Days to Vancouver!
Nordic Culture Days is a new event series in Vancouver, BC that celebrates "Nordic" and "Baltic" culture. Kristen Dobbin, fellow artist and writer shares my Estonian heritage and desire for accessible and inclusive community events that educate us about and celebrate our culture. So we started this monthly event series "with subtitles!" So far, we've had a cozy Nordic Film Night and next weekend we are hosting an exciting participatory dance event: Day of Dance!

Watch the men and women of Kilplased in motion, and learn a few moves too! Refreshments, including coffee and baked goods generously provided by Terra Breads, will follow. All proceeds support this wonderful local dance group's travel costs to Estonia's Song & Dance Festival in 2014.
